1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, placing an order, or signing up as a rider with GoFillAm, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

GoFillAm operates a platform that connects customers with verified riders and partner gas stations for the pickup, refill, and delivery of cooking gas (LPG) cylinders to homes and businesses in Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.

3. Eligibility & Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or apply to become a rider. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information, as incorrect details may delay or prevent delivery of your order.

4. Placing an Order

Orders are submitted through our website form, specifying your cylinder size, quantity, delivery address, and nearest landmark. Once received, we prepare your quotation. You can place your order directly and get this quotation generated for you right on our website — where you can review the full price breakdown and pay online — or, if you prefer, continue on WhatsApp, where we send your quotation for confirmation before dispatching a rider.

5. Pricing & Payment

You pay a service fee in addition to the actual refill cost of your cylinder, with no hidden charges. We now accept payment via Paystack (card, bank transfer, or USSD through our secure checkout) or by direct bank transfer, with your receipt shared via WhatsApp to confirm your order — orders are not dispatched until payment is confirmed.

6. Delivery & Cylinder Handling

A verified rider will collect your empty cylinder, have it refilled at a certified partner station, and return it to your delivery address. If you are not home at the time of delivery, you may leave your empty cylinder outside and notify the rider so a refilled cylinder can be exchanged safely.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel an order before a rider has been dispatched to collect your cylinder, free of charge. Once a rider has been dispatched or your cylinder has been collected, cancellation may be subject to a service fee to cover costs already incurred. Refunds for confirmed payments are assessed on a case-by-case basis — contact us as soon as possible if there is an issue with your order.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false or misleading order, payment, or contact information.
• Tampering with, refilling, or reselling cylinders outside of our verified process.
• Abusive or threatening behaviour toward riders, station partners, or GoFillAm staff.
• Using our platform for any unlawful purpose.

9. Riders & Independent Contractors

Riders who partner with GoFillAm operate as independent contractors and are responsible for handling cylinders safely and professionally in line with our safety guidelines. GoFillAm reserves the right to suspend or terminate a rider's access to the platform for violations of these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we work with verified riders and certified gas stations to ensure safe handling, GoFillAm is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GoFillAm harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these terms.

12. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for any user or rider who violates these terms or engages in conduct that puts our customers, riders, or partners at risk.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
